Nuri Koray Kurun
He studied Transportation and Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and holds an Oceangoing Deck Officer’s License. After his graduation he started working as a marine deck officer on general cargo and dry bulk vessels owned by one of the reputable shipping companies in Turkey.
After graduation from law school he worked as a lawyer and admiralty manager in a law firm located in Istanbul where he has dealt with marine casualties and disputes related to shipping, where both commercial ships and private yachts are included. Also, he is visiting lecturer in Maritime Law course at ITU Maritime Faculty and ITU Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Faculty.
